Press Requirements
Individuals requesting press registration must be employed by a media outlet responsible for publishing a magazine, newsletter, or journal which regularly covers topics pertinent to the information profession and special library industry. Press credentials are only issued to editorial staff members who are reporting on the events, programs and activities at SLA 2012. A letter from your employer that describes your assignment may be required. Exceptions will only be granted for local press or trade show media.

Freelance writers are required to supply an assignment letter. Please e-mail your letter to John Walsh or fax to +1.703.647.4901 by close of business on Friday, 6 July 2012.

Once registered, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Media badges will be available on-site at the SLA 2012 Registration Desk.
